Mommy called makmak this morning and had this conversation over the phone:

Mommy: Makmak, how was school?
Makmak: Fine
Mommy: I'm tampo with you!
Makmak: Why?
Mommy: You didn’t kiss me good bye.
Makmak: EH, you didn’t tell me eh.
Mommy: I don’t have to tell you, dapat you always kiss me.
Makmak: eh…am… you were sleeping.
Mommy: Edi, wake me up.
Makmak: I don’t want to wake you up…
Mommy: why???
Makmak: ITS BAD MANNERS MOMMY! DIBA YOU TOLD ME THAT!
Mommy: Ah.. ok… sge bye na.. mommy needs to work na! (baka ano pang sabihing kasunod nitong bibo kong anak)

While lying on the bed, mommy accidentally bumped her head on the head board of the bed… and it was hard…

Makmak: Ay punyeta! Nauntog ka mommy
Mommy: Makmak, don’t say that, that’s bad
Makmak: mommy, bad ba yung punyeta?
Mommy: Yeees…
Makmak: mommy, pag mommy na ako pwede na ako magsabi ng PUNYEEEETA (following the same tone how her mom says the said word)?
Mommy: ahm...yes (telling herself, may choice ba ako sa isasagot ko?)

On the phone (don’t forget that this is about a 5 year old girl)

Mommy: Hello, Makmak? Where's Daddy? I need to speak with Daddy.
Makmak: Who's this?
Mommy: Makmak.. ano ba?! It’s mommy! ( with an irritated voice)
Makmak: oh its the royal HIGHNESS!
Makmak: (SHOUTING) DADDY!!!, the QUEEN needs to speak to you
Daddy: (from a distance) wait!
Makmak: UR HIGNESS please wait my daddy is in the bathroom, UR HIGHNESS please don’t put down the phone
Mommy: OK ( di alam kung matatwa or maiirita kasi lakas mangasar ng anak nya!)


When makmak was still 3 years old

Makmak: Mommy, where did ako nag come?
Mommy: ha??!!
Makmak: San ako naglabas?
Mommy: hmmmm... sa pepe ko...
Makki: TINGIN nga???

Mommy - Makmak, Daddy said he saw classmate Ivan kissed you a while ago
Makmak - Yes, mommy.
Mommy - Where ka niya kiss?
Makmak - Sa cheeks lang... pero Mommy pag mommy na ako pwede na ako kiss ni Ivan sa lips na may biting biting?

In the car

Makmak: Mommy, pls buy a gift for Ivan (makmak’s bf)
Mommy: Why?
Makmak: Because I love him
Mommy: WHAAATTT????
Makmak: Mommy! Sabi ni teacher, love your classmate daw!

While watching tv

Makmak: Mommy, I need to go on a date
Mommy: With whom?
Makmak: IVAN
Mommy: What will you do?
Makmak: We’re going to watch a movie, buy something and go somewhere
Mommy: Can I come?
Makmak: NO! DATE NGA EH! (with conviction)
Makmak: and oh! I need to SKIP SCHOOL

In the living room while watching tv, Makmak seems to be looking for something

Makmak: Mommy where’s my baby alive?
Mommy: I don’t know, diba you were playing with it yesterday? Whose toy is that ba?
Makmak: Mine
Mommy: So you have to be responsible for your things

2 days after… same location

Mommy: Makmak did you see the remote control?
Makmak: Whose remote control is that ba?
Mommy : Mine
Makamak: Diba dapat you should be responsible for your own things?

Makmak (a 5 year-old girl) - Mommy, nung baby pa ako nasa tummy mo ako?
Mommy - Yes... Tapos ang laki ng tummy ni mommy.
Makmak - Mommy, may baby pa sa tummy mo?
Mommy - Wala! Bakit?
Makmak - Eh ba't ang laki pa rin ng tummy mo?

In the bed room

Makmak - Mommy, am I pretty or beautiful?
Mommy - You are pretty and beautiful.
Makmak - Mommy, mommy ba talaga kita?
Mommy - Yes, anak. Why? (Mommy sounded worried and alarmed with the question)
Makmak - E ba't ang pangit mo?
